Safety First!

So, after the birthday party, everyone thought it might be a good idea to get a helmet for Zeker. Since he is a serious skateboarder, he agreed and today we tried it out.

Here he goes!

He's hardcore.

Goin' faster now...

and time to slow down.

He loves it!

Time to walk home. See you tomorrow!

Our Trip to Mt. Baldy

Auntie Kari - I hope you like these pictures of me from my first trip to the snow. It was quite fun but very cold. Papa Dave and Uncle Sam threw alot of snowballs. I just hung out with my mom and dad. Next time I go, I want you to go with me!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Zeke got a fun Snuggle Puppy book from his valentine!

Grandma Ne' made Valentine cakes for all her valentines.

Mom's Lil Love Bandit:)

Uncle Sam - so handsome!

Cutest face ever!

Uncle Sam and Zeke tried out the pink ribbon from Grandma Ne's present.

Hey Aunt Kari, I can stand on my chair, look cute,
and be a risk taker all at the same time!
Mr. Charming

Zeke's New Rainboots!

Zeke and his mom went shopping for frames and came home
with a new pair of rainboots!
He loves wearing them and thinks he looks pretty cool:)
He can even stand and balance!
Mostly he likes the texture and colors!
They go well with a number of outfits - but he really loves to wear them
with his dino-jammies.
Sometimes he just stops and stares. He can't believe he was gifted
with such great footwear.
He knows his Aunt Kari would love them as well!

Ezekiel is One!

We had a great time celebrating the birth of the Center of the Universe!

Such a big boy.

He loved opening his presents and was mostly interested
in tearing the wrapping paper off of the boxes.

He really enjoyed his sugar-free dog cake...

first picking off all of the raisins...

and then really going for it.

He showed off all of his skateboarding skills and really freaked out the Westras.

It was a great day, but he missed his Auntie Kari. We'll have to
celebrate again when you come home from Africa.

Memories

Courtney looks disgusted.
I look like I've been crying (and I had been crying).
Kari looks like she's too good for this.
Dad has his picture smile on.
Mom looks great.

Christmas morning. Mom will notice the pantry.
Everyone else will notice the hair.
